Our detached house is located in the beautiful Derbyshire Dales countryside on the A6 between Bakewell and the lovely village of Ashford in the Water. There is private, off road parking next to our house at the top of our drive.
We have access to numerous beautiful country walks right on our doorstep and it is easy driving if you wish to explore a little further a field. Reasonably fit walkers could take in Chatsworth House or Haddon Hall or Monsal Dale, or Lathkill Dale from our doorstep, stopping off for a very good pub lunch on the way.
